UMass System Reorganization Updates
A review of the University of Massachusetts organizational structure is currently underway to determine ways to further collaboration among the five campuses, other universities, and with business sectors in order to better serve students and to strengthen the University’s standing among the nation’s higher education institutions. A committee formed by Governor Deval Patrick will conduct the review, looking at governance issues and the structure of the UMass system.
The Alumni Association is committed to keeping our alumni connected and informed on this issue by providing the following links to information pertaining to the reorganization discussion as it develops. We also pledge to represent your opinions! Submit your comments or questions to the Alumni Association at alumni@admin.umass.edu and we will share your messages with the President's Office and with the Governor's review committee.
