What’s better than running a Nearly Naked Mile for a great cause? Not much! View a photo slideshow of the event.
The Nearly Naked Mile is a community service event focused on a large clothing drive for new or lightly-worn clothing. Participants donate articles of clothing and then proceed to run/walk a mile NEARLY naked in appropriate attire for this event (undergarments, bathing suit, boxer shorts, t-shirts, shorts, tank tops, and camisoles).
The run also demonstrates the challenges faced by over 16,000 homeless people across Massachusetts without appropriate clothing as cooler temperatures approach. All donations will support the Amherst Survival Center.
is this only open to students, or can alumni and friends participate as well?
