Vaughn Rist '64 has worked for more than 40 years in the areas of human resources, labor relations, and public relations. He was the president of HRS LLC., a human resources consulting organization for both profit and non-profit corporations. Prior to this position, he was the senior vice president of human resources with Spalding and Callaway Golf where he was responsible for the worldwide human resources activity for this global corporation.
Vaughn has always been an active member of his community, serving on boards for colleges, banks, hospitals, non-profit organizations, and economic development corporations. He directed two capitals campaigns for the United Way of Pioneer Valley.
A 1964 graduate of UMass Amherst, Vaughn majored in business administration. He is an elected member of the Alumni Association Board and serves on the Programs and Services Committee. He resides in Wilbraham, Massachusetts and has been a member of the Alumni Association since 2008.
