David K. Richter '96 is the president of Jet Options International located in Boston, Massachusetts. Dave’s sales career began as a financial advisor with Prudential Securities, before being recruited by Salomon Smith Barney as one of their youngest vice presidents of investments. Dave then started his own investment firm catering specifically to corporations and high net-worth individuals, Magnum Portfolio
Management.

After selling his company and making a career change to business aviation, Dave joined Bloomer deVere, where he developed a specialty for finding undervalued, off-market aircraft. Along with the other founders of Jet Options International, he has been able to find his calling by providing a one-stop organization dedicated to the end users of business aircraft.  

Dave currently serves as a board member of the following organizations: Future Leaders of Business Aviation (president), San Diego Regional Aviation Association (past president), Massachusetts Business Aviation Association (director).

Dave graduated from UMass Amherst in 1996 with a bachelor's degree in
Hotel, Restaurant and Travel Administration. While on campus, he served as
the Social Chairman and Pledgemaster for the Phi Mu Delta Fraternity.

Dave resides in Wayland, Massachusetts with his wife and daughter and is an elected member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors. He serves on the Finance and Investments and Technology and Online Services Committees and is a Life Member of the Alumni Association.
